While we missed them terribly we were worried about the effect this had on them due to our extremely close relationship. As their grandmother, I had an especially difficult time with it and when Emily told us an agreement had been proposed and we would be able to see them the upcoming weekend, I was in shock and didn’t really respond with how much I appreciate all of the work that went into getting to this point and the joy that is in my heart now at the thought of seeing them in a few days. I have cried tears of sorrow for the last year and a half and now tears of joy. I would have been very impressed with Emily no matter what the outcome but I am beside myself with the outcome and the ability for my husband and I to be back in our amazing grandchildren’s lives, thanks to Emily and her amazing team. Thank you, we are beyond excited to see them again.
