He can’t afford to wash his clothes, fix his teeth, or buy real food because his refrigerator broke years ago. He survives on instant ramen. Meanwhile, he has thousands of dollars left to him by his parents when they passed away years ago. He been waiting for years, but no one ever clearly showed him what to do or helped him manage the process or any of it in anyway. I didn’t even know this was happening until he was hospitalized and nearly died. In summer 2025, I finally took him to a meeting with the law firm handling his case. They told us the paperwork would be ready in a month. It’s now December 2025. He doesn’t want to “bother” them because he trusts them and believes they’ll call. They haven’t. Would you trust your own family with a law firm that leaves someone living in squalor while holding up their inheritance? Is it worth paying hundreds of dollars an hour for nothing but blind faith? Would you want your child to suffer needlessly?
