THE ABSOLUTE WORST. I can piggyback on the other review. You are the attorney, but you have no idea how the justice system works in the county. You have no relationship with the court system. You have no idea what the procedures are for the court system that you're dealing with. I was supposed to be done with them completely in December 2024, and TO THIS DAY, they have not reconciled a problem they created. I haven't heard from them in months. Horrible!!!

DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS LAWYER! I filed my divorce with Rainford Law Office December2021, through Arag Legal services, which I paid into for about 15 years. During this period it took two years to go to meditation. After mediation there was a court date set, but somehow my attorney managed to have us taken off the court calendar, mind you, without my consent, Since the defendant has a temporary protection order against him for assault on me. Also, she drew up a settlement in favor of the defendant. When I declined to sign the document Attorney Rainford refused to speak to me, return my calls or reply to my emails. Nonetheless, she clearly rode this case out with very little effort, yet at the end of everything she collects the check from the legal service I paid into. This is clearly an injustice and an infringement on my human right as a citizen. She clearly showed favoritism with the defendants attorney, with no efforts to help me at all.

Do not let this Chelsia Rainford represent you. If I would have read her reviews prior to obtaining her as my divorce attorney. I would've have paid for a more professional, knowledgeable, and reputable attorney. She comes off as a very nice sweet lady, but she's all bark. No bite. I became very frustrated when it came to the trial and the mediation how she poorly represented me. She did not properly cross examine the other party or attorney. She let the other attorney speak and say inaccurate information and also make inappropriate statements without any objections. Hell, I had to make several objections on my own defense. During the court proceedings she allowed the other counsel to take full control of the session. She had no back bone, when the fight got tuff she sat back and looked crazy, as well. She allowed the other attorney to make calculations. I felt as though she did NOT have my back and as a result I wasted my time, energy, & money, too! I was extremely upset and frustrated. If I could rate her a zero I would., too. She talked a good talk at the consultation. After I informed the attorney of some third-party advice that I received from a another attorney, she got upset and decide to excuse yourself, or withdraw herself from my case 2 weeks before the final court hearing and notified me via mail/email. Keep in mind, we always communicated via phone or in person but never communicated via mail/email. Also, she informed the other attorney that I was not complying with the prior agreed upon mediation agreement without speaking to me about my final decision, her horrendous, actions, or her decision to withdraw from my case. I was totally blindsided about this information that I received via postal mail (finding out that she had withdrawn from my case). As a result, it caused me to pay extra court fees, attorney’s fees, & all this other frivolous charges that could’ve been avoided if she was woman enough to pick up the phone to call me and verbally talk to me like we’ve been doing. I made several attempts calling her via phone. I’ve texted message her and for her not to return my phone calls was a very cowardly way to end a business transaction such as this magnitude. She was very unprofessional and gives good attorneys a bad luck when it comes to representing the law and clients!

Run! Do not let her represent you!!!! She allowed a modification to drag for almost two years. When court came she allowed the other counsel to run the show. She had no back bone and when the fight gets tuff she sits back and looks crazy. She allowed the other attorney to make calculations she didn’t even have a calculator. She did NOT have our backs and as a result we wasted time, money and was extremely upset and frustrated. If I could rate her a zero I would. She talks a good talk at the consultation but after that it’s downhill. We should have fired her long time ago but we trusted her as our attorney. Never again! Being Perfectly honest, You get what you pay for, invest in an expensive Attorney!
