After receiving a traffic citation in Chatham County while being from out of town, I was incredibly stressed about having to travel four hours back to Savannah for court. As a 19-year-old UGA student paying for everything on my own, this felt overwhelming. I had never been in trouble before, never even received a ticket, so I was completely terrified and had no idea what to do.
I called several traffic attorneys in Chatham County, and Cassie Hartpence immediately stood out. Not only was she the most affordable and offered a simple one-time payment, but she was also kind, patient, and genuinely helpful from the very first phone call. Unlike other attorneys I contacted, she did not brush me off or make me feel like just another case. She took the time to explain the court process to me during a free consultation before I had even hired her, which meant so much because no one else I spoke to did that.
Throughout the entire process, Cassie kept me updated and made everything feel so much less scary and stressful. She was professional, reassuring, and clearly knew exactly what she was doing. Thanks to her, my 3-point citation was reduced to 0 points, and my court fine went from over $700 to a little over $100.
I truly cannot recommend her enough. She not only saved me a huge amount of money, but also protected my insurance from going up (helping me save long term), kept points off my license, and saved me from the stress of trying to figure out transportation, hotel costs, and representing myself as a broke college student. When I first called her, I was scared, confused, and knew little to nothing about the court system. She was an absolute blessing and helped me more than I can say. I am so beyond grateful for everything she did. If you need help, hire her.
