Final Response to Attorney Daniele Johnson Thank you again for your continued replies, though I wish this level of engagement had been present when I was still your client. You’re now quick to correct perceived inaccuracies and offer “lessons” to future clients, yet when I sought basic transparency and advocacy, I was met with silence and indifference. Let me clarify a few key points: 1. Refund Timeline: Your claim that the refund only took "two weeks" is misleading. It was closer to two full months from the final hearing to when I actually received the funds—and only after multiple inquiries went ignored. Whether it was due to travel or billing processes, your lack of communication during that time was inexcusable. Your response here proves you are capable of being responsive—just not when it counted most. 2. Courtroom Representation: You state the judge ruled based on the “totality of the evidence,” but you fail to acknowledge that the so-called evidence was never challenged. The petitioner’s statements were lies—easily refutable had you chosen to cross-examine her. Instead, you openly stated in court: “I’m not going to beat up on an old woman.” That decision to withhold cross-examination was not compassion—it was a clear dereliction of duty to your paying client. 3. Judge’s Rationale: You now mention that the judge may have chosen the more “vulnerable” party to remain in the home. At no point did you explain this during or after trial, nor did you advocate for my position or prepare a defense against that exact narrative. You left it unaddressed, just like the petitioner’s false witnesses and unsupported claims. 4. Responsibility: Rather than taking ownership, you deflect by suggesting I withheld information. Let me refresh your memory. When I retained you, you sent an email stating that one of your paralegals would be contacting me to gather additional information—that follow-up never happened. On the day of the hearing, you spoke to me for no more than five minutes just before my case was called. Now you ask how you were supposed to gather information in that short timeframe—but that responsibility was yours from the moment you agreed to represent me. As I stated before, you failed to obtain the necessary details, and the claims made by the petitioner—which were all lies—were left entirely unchallenged. Had you taken the time to prepare properly and conduct a cross-examination, those lies could have and should have been exposed. Instead, you allowed them to stand unopposed, effectively abandoning your duty to your client. The reality is, I hired you to protect my interests—and when faced with lies and surprise witnesses, you chose passivity over protection. You may have 28 years of experience, but in this case, that experience did not translate into meaningful advocacy, strategic thinking, or professional accountability. The disappointing outcome wasn’t just because of what the judge ruled—it was because you failed to challenge anything that could have changed the outcome. You weren’t outmatched—you simply didn’t show up to fight.

I could not be happier with my experience working with Attorney Daniele Johnson and her team. At 8 months pregnant the father of my child petitioned for FULL custody of my unborn child maliciously simply because he was far more financially superior than me. Daniele always listened to me thoroughly and patiently, I was comfortable telling her very personal details towards my case. I am forever grateful that she made me and babies safety, health and peace the top priority from beginning to end. The entire process went extremely smooth thanks to Daniele and her team’s professionalism. During our hearing Daniele was very sharp and handled everything extremely well and impeccably, I felt comfortable and well protected the entire time. I 1000% recommend Daniele as a family lawyer because she is informative, knowledgeable, compassionate, and all around great at what she does, she’s the best! Everything I asked for and hoped for got granted. Her team was also a true pleasure to work with, they never lacked communication. My family and I will never forget Daniele and everything she has done to protect us in our most vulnerable time. Once again, thank you Daniele! -Abigail
