  Although I wasn't officially a client with them, when I reached out with an inquiry of whether I needed an attorney, Javier spoke with me for 10+ minutes, providing me advice as well as informing me I wouldn't need an attorney in my case. I really appreciate the gesture and goodwill they showed me.

  This man is a crook! In over 16 years of doing real estate transactions I have never once seen a closing attorney charge a buyer or seller for services if a transaction failed to close. In the real estate business, this happens all the time. In our case John felt it prudent to withhold $500 (as his self appointed price) for work performed on a transaction that didn't close and is withholding it from buyers earnest money. We are reporting him to the GA Bar as I believe this practice is illegal and unethical. Earnest money is held by the attorney on behalf of buyer & seller. The seller released the earnest money to us (buyers) and John decided to charge that earnest money for the amount of money he saw fit. Never ever have I heard of this practice being legal. Think twice, and long and hard before using this man. If anything goes sideways he will charge you whatever he feels like. We are victims of his business!
