  Eric Bernstein did an amazing job in proving my innocence. He explained everything to me from the 1st time we spok, never promised anything but delivered everything. He updated as the case moved along and answered any questions I had. He was persistent in his efforts to get the DA to look at the facts of the case that he gathered which led to the 4 charges being dropped.   Attorney Bernstein gave me a second chance at life. He had multiple charges dropped and reduced a DUI to reckless driving. I could not have asked for a better outcome. If you need a defense attorney for DUI Attorney Eric Bernstein is the way to go!

  I hired Eric Bernstein for a DUI arrest from a checkpoint in Douglas County. My case was very stressful due to incorrect information in the police report. I was innocent, so we denied many “deals” presented by prosecution, thus causing the case to be scheduled for trial. Eventually, the prosecutor offered to drop the charge to Reckless Driving 1 week before trial. I have plans to go to medical school and a DUI is never good thing in background checks. I was very stressed about my case, but Eric was always 1 text/call away, quick to respond with answers to my questions - even for questions he’s already answered. He was understanding of my worries and did not make me feel like he was too busy. He never gave false hope/promises, he was always straightforward with the information he knew and honest about things he could not control - at the same time, he expressed confidence about the strength of our case. You can tell he is experienced in the DUI process, he was even knowledgeable of ongoing Supreme Court cases that could affect the outcome of my case! It was nice that he always kept me in the loop of everything, informing me what to do on my end. Even though we didn't go to trial, I am confident that he would have done well arguing on my behalf, based on how well he did during hearings catching inconsistencies in the officer’s testimony/police report.   I thought my case was completely hopeless. Today Mr. Bernstein left myself and the courtroom in awe as he negotiated a DUI charge down to a Reckless Driving, which allowed me to enter a plea of "Nolo Contendere". NO CONVICTION AT ALL.
