I want to sincerely thank Ryan Proctor for representing me in my temporary restraining order case. Even though we didn’t get the result I was hoping for, he was professional, dedicated, and always made me feel heard and supported throughout the entire process.
Ryan took the time to explain each step of the case, prepared thoroughly, and fought hard on my behalf. What stood out most was his compassion and genuine concern for my well-being during a very stressful time.
I truly appreciate the effort and commitment Ryan put into my case and would recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and caring attorney who will stand by you and give their all.

I am very pleased and extremely grateful for Attorney Caitlyn Hood. I am so glad that I hired her to assist with my case. She is very thorough and focused; she is compassionate and listens intently. I immediately felt like I had known her for years after my first meeting with her because she and her staff immediately welcomed me and were very straightforward and forthcoming with what I was up against. She informed me that my case was a tough one, but she never backed down and was always on point getting the information that was needed to help in moving my case forward. I thank God for sending her to defend my case! If you need an attorney that will put themselves in your shoes and really go to bat for you, then she is the ONE to hire! I am glad to have her on my side. A huge "Thank You" to you and your team for the successful outcome in my case. I will forever be indebted to YOU! XOXOXO

I had high hopes when I first started working with this law firm. My initial consultation with attorney Hood went really well. I felt heard and understood, and I believed my case was in good hands. While I knew there could be some complexities, I also felt it was a fairly straightforward matter.
Before my original attorney went on emergency personal leave, she told me they would be reviewing my billing to see where they could have been more efficient. That gave me some hope. But after my case was transferred, I was told by accounting that the billing had been “verified” as accurate. If that’s the case, I don’t understand how I was already running out of both my retainer and my reserve when we weren’t even halfway through the case. It left me feeling like I was being drained financially without clear progress.
The billing model was another major issue. I was asked to pay a retainer and an additional reserve, which was supposed to be refundable if unused. However, I was also told I needed to keep the reserve at a certain amount so they could pull from it as needed. It felt like a moving target financially. I would have preferred a more transparent and realistic estimate from the beginning rather than being lowballed and then hit with ongoing charges, especially when they kept working and billing even after the reserve ran out, without my explicit approval. I was still charged even after I decided to transfer my case to a new firm.
The final straw was when we filed a document to waive a hearing, and it was denied due to a basic step being skipped early in the case. They claimed they never received a certain an address—but they never asked for it. That’s not something I should have had to catch; it's their responsibility to handle those requirements correctly.
After leaving this firm, my new attorney resolved everything in under four months. I left feeling disappointed, overcharged, and exhausted by a disorganized and inefficient process that involved too many people—attorneys, paralegals, accounting, case managers and not enough clear communication or accountability. I would not recommend this law firm and strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
