  I am writing to formally address a concerning experience I had today with the paralegal Jackie at Cardillo Law Firm during what I thought was just a quick consultation. I’ve been navigating an overwhelming situation involving the potential loss of my home. On top of this, I was recently diagnosed with a cognitive condition, which has added to my stress. I’ve been proactive in reaching out for help to better educate myself for what’s to come. Today, during my lunch break, I called Cardillo’s office and had the opportunity to speak with the paralegal. What I anticipated would be an introductory conversation turned into an hour-long cross-examination. The experience was far from what I expected from a professional consultation. I had just made two calls prior and they were delightful. Throughout the call, I was consistently cut off, and at times, I felt belittled. When I tried to answer her questions, she responded in a dismissive tone, often giving off the “So, let me get this straight,” tone making me feel as though I was somehow foolish for the decisions I have made. When I didn't have all the details on hand or was slower in my responses, she became frustrated and implied that I was withholding information. She even went as far as to tell me that, as the expert, her perspective should take precedence over my own reality, which felt both presumptuous and dismissive It felt as though I was being treated like the problem, rather than a client in need of assistance. I was in tears. I had to take a step back and just breathe. This situation is already emotionally and mentally taxing, and the last thing I needed was to be made to feel incompetent by someone I sought help from. When clients reach out to attorneys, we are often confused, scared, and seeking guidance. It is your job to guide us and answer our questions, no matter how simple they may seem. I would like to suggest that moving forward, consultations with clients be scheduled properly, with an email sent beforehand outlining the information the client needs to prepare. This would allow clients to gather everything needed, and prevent overwhelming and unnecessary questions during the call. It would also ensure a more organized and respectful consultation. I hope my feedback is taken seriously, and that this matter is addressed to avoid future occurrences with other clients.

  Unreliable and unsuccessful in their services. I am genuinely not sure why anyone would utilize them. They will feed you information and then go MIA and pawn you off on their secretary. Really disappointing experience. Be CAREFUL
