  After working with Wes Smith and Heather Gilkey for nearly three years, I am so glad that I decided to choose Weston Smith Law. Previously, I had never used a personal injury attorney. After the sudden death of my mother in January 2021, I found myself in need of one. At the time, Wes was a partner at Masterson, Hoag and Smith, one of two firms recommended to me by my aunt’s attorney. Very soon after selecting that firm and meeting with Wes in early 2021, Wes decided to open his own practice. I was nervous about that at first, however my gut feeling about Wes after our initial meeting panned out as soon as we started working together on my mom’s wrongful death case. Wes is personable, patient, an excellent communicator and very smart. I believe that his decades of collective experience as a prosecutor, plaintiff and defense attorney is a great benefit and it helped with the outcome of my case. Wes is confident, but not arrogant or aloof, and always took the time to listen to my input and ideas. Both Wes and Heather made me feel like I was an integral part of the team to seek justice for my mom and others who may find themselves in the same situation in the future. Throughout the entire process, Heather was always available and extremely helpful with documents, instructions and moral support. I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision or that my case was not important to them. Ultimately the case went to mediation and Wes recommended an excellent mediator who was extremely well qualified. Wes patiently walked me through the mediation process and the case was eventually settled to the satisfaction of both parties. I have no reservations in recommending Weston Smith Law as a top-notch personal injury law firm.

  I can't say enough about Wes and his office staff. Not only highly professional & responsive but caring people as well.
