  Avoid at all costs Regrettably, I failed to do due diligence on M&M before signing with them. Let me add my one/zero star to the firm's uniformly abysmal reviews on multiple platforms. I was hit by a car in a crosswalk. M&M courted me for my business. They were attentive until they learned that the motorist who hit me was underinsured and had few assets. Thanks to my having paid premiums for years, my car insurance’s uninsured motorist clause provided my sole, meager “settlement,” which was sent to M&M a few weeks after my accident. My federal health insurance sought a portion of my so-called settlement through a process called subrogation. Without consulting with me, M&M negotiated a split with the subrogation agent. End result? After one year of poor-to-nonexistent communication and promises of action not taken, M&M’s share of my check MORE THAN DOUBLED what I pocketed personally, as I had already paid some medical bills myself. When I protested, their tone of communication turned threatening. Given the David vs. Goliath odds, I agreed to their thievery. But while signing, I harkened back to what the attorney told me on our single phone call. “Regardless of the factual scenario … you end up winning,” he said. We won’t “leave you out in the cold and give you a check for 5 bucks” and take the rest of it. Yet that's exactly what they did.
