  Waylon took our call and met with us promptly. That was good but we think only bc he wanted the $15,000 retainer. Problem was he never did any appreciable work after that! Our case was continued for about a year and one half. That was good. But once we were ready to go to trial, we learned he never read any of my numerous emails or reviewed key photographic evidence. My husband had been charged with reckless burning and having a fire of greater diameter than 8 feet. Critical fact was we had 4 digital time stamped photos and 2 in person witnesses that were there at the time the wildfire started and could prove we were not even burning. Waylon wanted us to lie on the stand and called us liars. Of course, Waylon was immediately fired. Thankfully we hired another attorney who actually listened to us and did the requisite work. She got the State Attorney to dismiss the reckless burning charges and he accepted a no contest adjudication withheld plea on the having a fire larger than 8 ft. So hire Waylon if you want to pay $15,000 for about 3 hours of work.
