  As a German-American family with deep roots in Europe as well as in FL and TN we travel frequently between our countries. In order to make immigration a bit easier and less bureaucratic and to allow for occasional stays beyond 3 months Urban Thier & Federer advised us to apply for a B1/B2 visa. Mr Thier and his team guided us throughout all the steps of the B1/B2 visa application process to a successful ending: from advising on filling the extensive questionnaires correctly, selecting additional documents that supported our case to the final interview at the US Embassy in Berlin. A heartfelt thank you to Urban Thier & Federer for all of their excellent professional support delivered in a short timeframe as well as for the advice on our many questions regarding US immigration.   I needed assistance with an inheritance in Germany. Atty. Thier explained the process and was available to provide clarification whenever I needed it. He was serious when he needed to be but also showed his sense of humor which I appreciated. Alejandra, his Legal Assistant was efficient in facilitating communication between Atty. Thier and myself.

  A top notch law firm, attorneys and support staff. After a car accident with my family in the car, I was not clear of my rights or where to turn. The other driver’s insurance company pushed me to settle for a small payout that was not even enough to pay for my totaled car. After speaking with the head of litigation, John Urban, his team got me a great result. Highly recommend.
