  .....edited.... my apologies this was the wrong firm ....On 12/12/25, this Law Firm emptied mine and my fiance's personal account and my fiance's small Landscaping business account which the only money in there was for a client's materials for a job next week.. there has been no prior communication besides a letter sent to me which I immediately had called them a couple months ago and advised them and gave them my bankruptcy attorneys information and inform them of my income level...and then on Friday they just emptied me out I've left messages I've tried to reach out to them and the money that was in the personal account my father-in-law just asked us to deposit a check to pick up his chemo medicine they have totally screwed me and my family right before Christmas and I don't know how they can take $500 between the two accounts.. we already don't have much our incomes are separate and I've got two kids that I care for and I definitely fall below the poverty level. I'm lucky I can keep food on the table right now... and I'm in bankruptcy and they still did this all they needed to do was communicate and call me back after I called them 2 months ago and on top of that since Friday night they've been pulling the same money out and putting it back in like they're taunting us ...this is just wrong and bad business I'm always willing to take care of what I have to take care of but obviously they like strong-arming people who have followed the law and gotten a bankruptcy attorney if somebody could get back with me that would be great!! It'd be even better if you could put that money back

  I’ve heard from close friends that this lawyer includes in her contract that you can’t leave a critical review about your honest experience with them or they’ll sue you. I imagine my friends would imagine why a business would need an illegal policy like this and consider the honest feedback that can’t be shared because of fear of lawsuit.

  Ms. Wechsler and her paralegals (Cecelia and Lea) are excellent! You won't find a more knowledgeable, capable attorney. She has many years of experience and it shows. I've had one sub-par attorney previously (over my 11 year nightmare of a divorce/custody case) and several consultations - and I am so happy that I hired Ms. Wechsler. I wish I had from the start! During a very difficult and emotional time, you will want someone who can navigate through the rules of civil procedure process correctly and efficiently while keeping YOUR best interests at the forefront.. Ms. Wechsler and her paralegals do just that. These issues are often costly (unfortunately), but you also get what you pay for. All in all, Ms. Wechsler and her staff are top notch and I couldn't be happier with the work they did for my case. Don't look any further.. this one is the best!

  She helped me get custody of grand daughter in a very tough case. Mercedes did an excellent job at fighting against under handed crook father who went to prison after 3 years of us fighting him in custody battle. Now mercedes is helping us to adopt the grand daughter. If you need an attorney who knows the law do yourself a favor and play to win she is tough. Call Mercedes.
