Founding attorney Donald Kaltenbach began to practice in New Port Richey in 1972. Donald attend Stetson University College of Law, Floridas first law school. After completing his Juris Doctorate, he practiced law in the areas of DUI defense, criminal defense, bankruptcy, wills, trusts, estates, probate, and family law. This variety of service, combined with the timing of when he opened the firms doors, has been the key to our perpetual success. In 1990, to accommodate the growing demand of service, the firm added Stephen Williams as a partner. Stephen brought many things to the firm, but most notably, he is responsible for expanding the firm to include personal injury law. Thanks to the wealth of knowledge and experience that Williams brought, this new division has grown to be an integral part of the firms business. After leaving the Florida Bar, David Ristoff joined as a named partner in 2000. After Mr. Katenbach retired, the firm became Williams, Ristoff & Proper PLC. Along with his legal defense experience, Mr. Ristoff also brought his expertise in the division of medical malpractice to the firm, allowing us to become the incredibly diverse practice we are today.
