- AVAndrew VerdiNov 7, 20251.0I was completely misled by Steve Rossi, someone I knew personally and had acted as his Realtor twice. One years ago and again currently. Steve assured me he would personally handle my case and guide me through the process. Instead, he handed my case over to his seemingly very inexperienced nephew, Richard, who was completely unprepared and failed to represent me properly in court. Key evidence I provided was ignored, and the judge was left confused because my attorney didn’t even reference the correct documents sitting right in front of him. I was humiliated and left with no real defense. When I told them to stop representing me and not to file anything further, they ignored my explicit instructions and continued filing motions anyway, portraying me in a negative manner to the judge in retaliation to me hiring a new attorney. This firm showed me nothing but dishonesty, incompetence, and disregard for their client’s best interests. For this, I was also blessed with paying them a $7500 retainer of which they have never provided a single statement of where any of my money has gone and harassment for additional money. A Florida Bar complaint and malpractice lawsuit is forthcoming. I would strongly warn anyone against using The Rossi Law Firm. A **Update** after posting this review, Steve Rossi has reached out to my company to ask them to remove me as his agent for his condo listing that I have successfully procured a contract for and is pending closing, with no cause for his request. Just more evidence of the harm Steve and his family caused to me, their client. My office did refuse his request as I have provided exceptional service throughout his transaction regardless of the harm he has caused as my attorney. Stay away and read the most recent reviews, lots of unhappy clients. Class action? I’ll be investigating the possibility.
