  We hired Aliette H. Carolan as a family attorney based on a close friend’s recommendation, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. From the beginning, her communication was unclear and her position on fees changed multiple times. We were never given consistent expectations, and follow-up on the status of our case was almost nonexistent. Appointments were missed, and what should have been a simple matter was unnecessarily dragged out for months. We repeatedly had to email multiple times just to get basic responses — and to make matters worse, we were charged for her staff replying when she herself would not respond. In the end, we felt significantly overbilled, and resolving the invoice became another long back-and-forth process that took months to settle. Throughout it all, the professionalism was lacking, and her attitude became increasingly unpleasant. I would not recommend this attorney. The lack of reviews should speak for itself. Stay away. Over billing and nasty attitude!

  I cannot recommend Aliette enough. She helped me through my divorce a few years ago with such professionalism, kindness, and compassion. We were able to amicably mediate the process without ever going to court, which made a difficult time much easier to manage. Beyond her legal expertise, she is incredibly personable and heartfelt—never the cold, detached type of attorney you might expect. She truly cared about my situation and guided me with both skill and empathy. I recommend her to anyone who is looking for an attorney who not only gets results but also genuinely supports her clients.
