  We have been extremely impressed with Katherine and Amy and how much they have fought for us over a civil suit. Their kindness and compassion has not gone unnoticed by us through a very traumatic and difficult time. They always put what is in the client's best interest first, even if it takes a lot of extra work on their end. Thank you for being there and fighting for us!

  After my car accident last year, I was really on the fence about whether to hire a personal injury lawyer or navigate the insurance settlement on my own. I called around to a few different personal injury lawyers, and VanMeveren Law Group really stood out in the fact that I felt like they cared about helping me whether I ultimately decided to hire them or not. So a few months later, when I decided that it was too overwhelming to deal with the insurance companies on my own, I knew that VanMeveren would be the right choice. Karl and Jenn were assigned to my case, and they were both wonderful to work with. They communicated promptly, warmly, and professionally with me and really took the time to listen to me and understand my case so they could advocate well for me. They helped to take away so much of the stress and worry related to my settlement, and also gave me a great outcome. Highly recommend!

  I was riding my bicycle up a narrow mountain road, the upper portion of the road did not have a bike lane or berm. I was hit by a motorcycle coming up the road behind me going about 35 mph. I had serious injuries: fractured cervical spine, fractured nose and maxilla and fractured ribs. I had surgery to treat the fractures and was quadriplegic for a while after surgery but by the grace of God I was able to learn to walk again. While in the hospital I learned that the police officer who was at the scene had issued me a citation for making an illegal turn (which I was not doing ). Once out of the hospital doing outpatient rehabilitation I went to a lawyer in Littleton who told me that because I had been issued the citation, he could not help me. A lawyer representing my health insurance company disagreed with that opinion and recommended that I contact the VanMeveren Law Group in Fort Collins. What a “game changer”. A reviewing all available information they accepted my case. Katherine Brownlow, was the attorney assigned to help me and she was terrific; very understanding, took time to explain everything to my wife and I. Everyone at the Law Group as very gracious and helpful, from our first meeting my wife and I knew we had made the right choice in choosing the VanMeveren Law Group.   Katherine and Amy were wonderful to work with after I was injured in a car accident last year! They are professional and communicative (we would hear from them several times a week), and they are part of a law group that prioritized our needs over anything else.   My case was recently settled and, on top of the relief I feel about that, I'm just so full of gratitude for the excellent teamwork of Katherine and Amy. They are true professionals, and I had the utmost confidence that everything was being handled as efficiently and thoroughly as it possibly could have been. Katherine's articulate communication style meant that I was never left with confusion about what was happening, and she always followed up with a summary/notes of what we had discussed, which was so helpful. Amy handled many of the tedious details behind the scenes, as well as the expeditious communication of documents and other matters. I cannot even imagine having done any of this on my own, or with a legal team that was not so client-focused. I felt as though my best interest was always a priority, and I cannot thank VanMeveren enough for guiding me through such a challenging time.
