  This was one of the worst experiences of my life. My lawyer had no idea what he was doing and dragged my case on endlessly, wasting everyone’s time—including mine and the opposing counsel’s. Because of his incompetence, I was ordered to pay half of my ex-husband’s attorney fees. Imagine hiring someone to fight for you, only to end up paying the other side’s lawyer too. He flat-out refused to help me prove that my ex was lying about his income, which was critical to my case. When it came time for court, it was embarrassing—he stumbled around, completely unprepared, and left me standing there with no real representation. He failed me when I needed an advocate the most. In the end, not only do I owe him money, but I also owe part of my ex’s fees—all because he fumbled my case from start to finish. I will be paying for this disaster for a long time. I would never recommend Salas Law Firm to anyone. Cody, you should be ashamed for charging me after completely losing my case and leaving me worse off than when I started.

  Worst experience. Parking lot incident with no one around, wanted us to take a "deal" of reckless driving or intent to harm. Laughed at us when we wanted to fight the case. Absolute garbage attorney. Find someone else at all costs to represent you and your future or represent yourself.

  Don't go through him he is for the dads not the mom my baby dad did not see his child for 3 and 1/2 years Ron decided to give Dad everything and screw me I lost out on thousands of dollars for him to represent the father why I paid for it.

  While looking for an attorney to help with an after divorce/ property issue, I remembered Salas Law Firm in Fort Collins, Colorado. I found their website and started my search. I found Cody Knebel at the top of the list. After reading the "About Cody" info I knew he was the attorney I needed!!! He got me to court, through court, the mediation process and to the finish ....all virtually, because I now live in Kansas. Cody handled everything and made the whole process easy and relatively stress free. Cody is very honest, upfront, knowledgeable, experienced, great at explaining the ins and outs of your situation and, and is ready day one to handle any family law situation you may have.   Cody was hands down an answered prayer for me over the last several years. He has tackled everything from family, custody, and child support issues and each time we have come out victorious. Winter 2019 I was deployed to the middle east and he represented me while abroad through the hardest time of my life. Not only did he take on the County in supporting veteran rights and protections, he won in what is now a landmark case for the state of Colorado. Cody didn't stop there, he continues to support me and the military community and the state of CO pushing to make changes to current legislation across the nation. He has truly triumphed and and has been the best decision and connection when it comes to legal matters. I would recommend him to not only my family and friends but to strangers alike. You're in good hands.
