  I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Goodspeed Merrill.   Email from Miro Kovacevic, Esq. - "Of course, we do not and cannot know how each person is going to react to a letter from us." Why didn't Miro tell me this in the very beginning instead of 'after the fact'? It would have save me thousands of dollars! I thought a Cease & Desist was a real thing - meaning the recipient HAD TO OBEY. I was completely wrong. Please refund my money, Goodspeed Merrill!

  I hired Goodspeed Merrill to write a Cease & Desist to serve my neighbor who has been harassing me for 4+ years, not-stop. Brian Parker at Goodspeed had to have known that a C&D would probably NOT stop my neighbor. I paid GM almost $7,000 and NOTHING has changed with my neighbor! (Also, Brian often had to ‘consult’ with another lawyer so I paid his time too.) You would think a C&D might be $1K, not ~$7K! (How hard is it to write a professional C&D?) My HOA would not help me, even though my neighbor’s harassing behavior is a violation of our HOA Governing Documents - Rules & Regulations (nuisance clause). Arapahoe County Courts would not help me 3 years ago, because “neighbor has not physically hurt you, he’s only annoying you”. As lawyers, GM must have known a C&D would most likely not help me, yet they happily took my money! I was not told until about 90% through the process that “A C&D is just a warning, in case “it” later goes to court”. A complete waste of my money and time!

  Skylar Marshall and the team at Goodspeed & Merrill have done a great job structuring our entities for asset protection. We will continue to work with them on future projects, as they have a wide range of expertise. Would recommend to a friend!
