  Thank you to Steven I had inquired about an RO sadly against my mother after a year of constant harassment and abuse that got worse after my little girl passed away I had called due to me getting a denied RO request and was given an appointment went over my case had the court hearing and when she told lie after lie and I had all my evidence Steven the whole time presented everything to the judge and won me my RO for a year and I plan on asking to extend it before it’s up next year since she is still keeps tryin to to tell me things through 3rd party’s and watching this house and showing up so I will defiantly be back and recommend anyone who asks

  I paid Stephen Ibarra a substantial retainer and was told there would be an intake process, but that never really happened. Instead, I was given a family law packet even though my case was in probate, which wasted a significant amount of my time. I also gave him evidence and declarations that were never meaningfully used, and my family spent substantial time and money helping me for no benefit. He was repeatedly late, missed scheduled appointments, and did not seem prepared for court. I specifically told his staff not to do anything without first going through me, but that was not meaningfully respected. At the final court date, I lost the case without my evidence being properly presented. That caused serious harm to me, my daughter, and the case itself. I was then told I would receive a partial refund, but 45 days passed and nothing was paid. Only after I gave three final notices and posted reviews did I finally receive a billing statement. I was told he wanted to work it out, but communication stopped again. At this point, fee arbitration and a Bar complaint appear to be the only way forward to attempt to get back a quartwr of what this representation has really cost me.

  Do not hire Steven Ibarra for any case involving your child. I paid Steven Ibarra $6,000 in a case involving my daughter, and hiring him was one of the worst mistakes I made in this matter. This was a high-stakes case involving a third-party guardian, and I made clear from the beginning that delay would only strengthen the other side through status quo. I gave him evidence that took me around 200 hours to assemble. He did not use it. He did not file it. He did very little beyond an initial objection. He also asked me questions about basic family-law and procedural issues that I expected a retained attorney to already understand. I ended up doing work myself while losing time and ground in a case involving my child. He wouldn't provide a receipt of services performed I gave him 6 weeks three notices two final notices and no answer besides in the first couple of weeks and the first couple days he said he's going to give me a partial refund which he did not.. Based on my experience, I would strongly warn any parent against hiring him for a guardianship, custody, or other high-stakes family matter. My daughter is now in the hands of someone that is emotionally and psychologically abusing her in a critical stage in her development of her identity
