  I am disgusted and appalled at this attorney's lack of empathy. Not only did he not warn us that he would not be appearing by our side in court, he was completely unprepared and stuttered over his words on speakerphone which allowed the opposing attorney to appear much more informed. Court did not go well for us and when we expressed that this may not be a good fit & we'd like some of the $5,000 we paid him, he told my husband (who is fighting for my stepson) "No wonder your son's mother hates you." He said this to a man who is on the verge of losing his child & gave away his entire savings to an attorney TRUSTING that he would represent him properly. Absolutely OUTRAGEOUS behavior.

  This review is long over due. My life has been so peaceful thanks to Stephen Gassner. Mr Gassner helped me with a custody case for my daughter. Mr Gassner was able to rescue my daughter from a living situation that was not in her best interest. I have had full custody of my daughter now for about 4 years now. My daughter is happy safe and in a much better place. We have peace in our family and I can't thank this man enough. Mr Gassner is well versed in the law and will give you honest and direct feedback on your case. I wish I would have found him sooner than I did.

  Steve is an outstanding attorney, who is adept at handling extremely complex cases as well as the more simple ones. He works to constrain the issues and narrow the focus, so money is not wasted on extraneous issues. Unlike some attorneys, he works to minimize the litigation footprint. While other attorneys take every opportunity to add complexity (and billable hours) to the case, Steve take the opposite tack and fights these attempts of expansion. He cares about his clients, and always goes the extra mile to ensure that they are taken care of. I could not more highly recommend him.
