  If I could give negative 100 I would Shook took our money and did nothing for us. He claimed to be an expert on big cases and we later found out he is a fraud. This guy did not do his due diligence as an attorney that he claimed to be . We “my family” did our own investigation and found things that would have help my brother case but shook still did not bring it to courts attention. My brother was shot and he still did not bring it up in court my brother ended up getting 50 years after being shot . Shook left out everything possible that could have help out in court again not once did he mention my brother was shot multiple times. If a family hires you to fight for a family member guess what Michael the family is your client. I don’t know the procedures it does not take rocket science to figure out you did not either.

  Edit: Yes I was. If you are looking for a mediocre attorney who charges you like a great attorney, this guy may be your guy. If you want someone to completely blow your custody case by not following judges orders, this guy is 100% your guy.

  Michael Shook does not have your best interest at hand. He charges a flat rate and because of that he has no incentive to fight for your case after a certain point once he’s been paid. I wish I could give him ZERO stars but unfortunately I can't. We were the dumb one's to trust him over the last four years. This last court hearing was the last straw! He was completely unprepared. He never had a response for the judge, he received documents from my Ex's attorney and never informed me of them so we could have a rebuttal and because of his lack of engagement I lost the biggest case against my Ex for the sake of my daughter. He is the worse attorney and would not recommend him to my worse enemy.

  Even though I was extremely polite Mr. Shook was very rude and condescending. He cut me off when I spoke and literally hung up as I was asking him a question. I had a terrible experience with him. Look up reviews and you will see many negative reviews. Luckily I found a much better attorney who works out of OC & is caring.
