I am going explain from the end to the beginning. Mr.steele showed up for my sentencing. Mr. Steele attempted to quit representing me prior to the case beginning because I did not want to take a deal the state offered. The judge did not allow him to weenie out so easily but it didn't motivate any effort on my case This man did no work whatsoever on my case. Nothing. No pretrial motions, no pretrial hearing, no investigating, no researching the specific laws which were violated by law enforcement. Mr Steele just laid down and without any fight stuck me with a deal. Just before the preliminary hearing was to begin he went in the judges chambers with the prosecutor to discuss my case. After a half hour he told me it is only gonna get worse and I should take the deal. He was not taking no for an answer. All the discussions prior to this was all a smoke screen because he didn't fight for anything rather just laid down and pushed for a deal. I didn't want that, he wanted that because that's easy money. At my expense. Do yourself a favor and hire someone who will do as they say and fight for you. I regret this decision every day and feel that the $7500 was stolen not earned. Keep looking.....
