I would still be in custody if it wasn’t for this law firm. Addison was great at communicating and he was always on time if not early. This is the best lawyer experience I have ever had. Thank you to Addison and the whole team.

I had an outstanding experience with Christine Voss, an exceptionally smart, ethical, and hard-working defense lawyer. Her years of experience as a public defender give her not only a deep command of the law but also a clear understanding of how the Santa Barbara District Attorney’s office evaluates cases. That insight, combined with her diligence and strategic approach, makes her an invaluable advocate.
Christine is proactive, thoughtful, and deeply committed to protecting your rights. She explained the process with clarity and ease, and within a short time of agreeing to work with her, I received the best possible news: the District Attorney decided not to file charges.
There could not have been a better outcome. Christine is also quite fair when it comes to charges and I never received a bill that was, in any way, unreasonable. If you need a defense lawyer in Santa Barbara, I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Mr. Addison Steele has been practicing law since 1997 and has earned a reputation as a true advocate for justice. During my incarceration while facing a potential 25+ year prison sentence, Mr. Steele went above and beyond. Despite knowing I could not retain him, he took the time to meet with me multiple times via Zoom, purely out of the kindness of his heart. His dedication and compassion truly embody what it means to be “The People’s Lawyer.”
Although I was unable to retain him, I have no doubt that his exceptional skills and expertise would have resulted in the dismissal of my case. I am deeply grateful to have been saved by grace, but Addison’s unwavering support left a lasting impression on me.
If you’re considering hiring Mr. Steele, let this review reassure you. He stands out as an attorney who genuinely cares for his clients. He not only meets with clients at the jail in person more frequently than any other lawyer I’ve encountered, but also accommodates remote meetings over Zoom, ensuring accessibility and support for those in need.
Thank you, Mr. Steele, for your dedication to protecting the rights of the incarcerated and those fighting cases outside the system. Your diligent work and commitment to justice are unparalleled.

I greatly appreciate the amount of effort Addison took to help educate and navigate me through an unknown territory in law. His patience and support through a case I was potentially facing was extremely important to me and Addison took the time to spell out answers to many questions I had. I was fortunate enough to find Addison and have him in my corner to help me get ahead of a district attorney filing a case through his process of building a relationship and partnership with me. 10/10

5 stars is not enough! Mr.Steele represented me on a very complex felony case with prior felony convictions. I prepared myself for what I thought would be the next few years in SB jail but Mr.Steele came thru with a miracle and I walked away with time served and a misdemeanor which is unheard of considering the felonies I was arrested for but he knows what hes doing and good at what he does! He goes above and beyond and I'm very grateful for all of his hard work on the case(s) he's represented me on.
