  I am extremely disappointed with this attorney’s services. I paid a very high amount in legal fees, but received little to no actual work in return. My case was poorly handled, I ultimately lost, and I received no financial outcome at all. Communication was a major issue throughout the process. Responses were not timely, calls and messages often went unanswered, and I was frequently left in the dark. I was repeatedly given assurances that things were being handled, but in reality, no meaningful action was taken on my case. There was a lot of talk, but no follow-through. I trusted this attorney during a very difficult time in my life, and that trust was misplaced. For the money charged( almost $30,000) , I expected professionalism, responsiveness, and results—none of which I received. Steven demonstrated a lack of knowledge in family law, was unable to clearly address questions, and often appeared unsure of the legal issues involved. He came to court without adequate preparation, missed filing deadlines, and failed to submit required documents. Promises were repeatedly made and not kept. Overall, the representation was careless and highly disappointing. I would not recommend this attorney to anyone looking for serious representation in a divorce case.

  I hired the Law Offices of Steven Dineen for my divorce case in Santa Clara county, and working with Jacob Kim and Fawn Azad has been nothing short of life-changing. My case started in October of last year, and from the moment I retained Jacob, he and the entire team guided me through every major step: successfully obtaining a domestic violence restraining order and settlement, securing attorney’s fees, settling key issues, getting spousal support and ultimately dissolution. This law firm didn’t just handle the legal side — they supported me emotionally and mentally through a process that is incredibly heavy, overwhelming, and stressful. Jacob and Fawn were always there. Every email, every concern, every scary moment — they actually listened, responded quickly, and made sure I understood what was happening. They treated me like a real human going through something painful, not just another client file. Their kindness and clarity made a huge difference. Something I really appreciated was their honesty about costs. Family court cases can get expensive, and I told them I needed help keeping fees down. They respected that completely. Even Michelle from the billing department would personally take time to explain invoice, assist me with payment options and guide me through it all. Michelle and team even guided me on what I could handle on my own to save money, avoided unnecessary charges, and always recommended the most efficient option without ever sacrificing quality or strategy. Jacob Kim, in particular, was an incredible advocate. Smart, calm, strategic, and genuinely caring — he approached my case with both expertise and empathy. He fought for me, but he also grounded me when the emotional side of the divorce felt overwhelming. Working with this firm, I never felt alone in the process. I hope I never have to go through anything like this again, but if I ever needed help in any family law matter, I would choose this firm and Jacob Kim again without hesitation. I recommend them 100%. They’re sharp, compassionate, and they actually deliver results. I’m so grateful for everything they did for me.

  Great group of people at this firm! They are very knowledgeable and efficient at what they do. I had a few concerns regarding my case and they quickly put my mind at ease. I felt that they actually cared about me as an individual and not as just another case. Even if I wasn't able to access Steven directly, one of his associates would always get back to me promptly.
