  my niece has four criminal cases pending against her in Humboldt County , including one felony case involving criminal threats, and 3 misdemeanor ones Involving charges of violation of a court order, & Unlawful Taking /Distributing Lewd Material. Mark was accessible and willing to help. He met with my niece at the the Humboldt County Jail and after that met my nephew Because he was also very familiar with the facts of the cases. Mark then followed up a couple of days later, explaining his plans and how he could help resolve all of these cases so that my niece can move on with her life. She is in custody and we want her released so she can return to her full-time work as a bookkeeper in the Eureka area. So, far, we are very pleased with how Mark has communicate communicated with us and my niece about these cases

  I have a DUI and a related criminal case in a rural Northern California county. I decided to hire Marc Pelta because I suspected that I had a bench warrant. Therefore, I hired Marc as my attorney so he could resolve these cases, as soon as possible. Initially, I thought I had only one case but with the bench warrant, somehow that became two cases. Marc was accessible and responsive to my concerns even after hours and on weekends. My mother and I are so far pleased with how he has handled representing me.

  I was arrested for Felony 245 Assault because the police for some strange reason did not care to accept my story despite the fact my roommate attacked me in my bedroom seriously injuring me. I decided to first hire attorneys Marc Pelta & his colleague, Jonathan Franklin of Beverly Hills because they are both former prosecutors I was confident could help me deal with the DA. They represented me to the DA and no criminal case was filed against me. However, my ex-roommate did not give up on harassing me and filed a baseless Civil Harassment Restraining Order case against me. Marc & Jonathan advised me to file my own CHRO against the former roommate which helped get him to drop his case against me so I could move on with my life. I am very pleased with the result, although it was a journey that took some time with ups and downs dealing with the uncertainty of the court process which I am not familiar with.

  If I could share no stars, I would. I called to try to get information on how to file a civil harassment restraining order and was met with disdain and arrogance. I'm sorry that I was given the wrong information by the police since they are not attorneys, but an actual attorney also did not give me any information on how to proceed. Be ready with all of your information or at least be ready to be talked down to. This is not an attorney for anybody who's lost and looking for help.

  I am writing this for my father because I am assisting him in this matter. We hired Marc for two legal matters, one was potentially criminal and the other was not. He has basically become our family attorney for certain legal matters. We were impressed with Marc's personal attention to our legal matters even after office hours and weekends. He was devoted to helping us. We will refer him to family and friends
