- PPPhoebeNov 7, 20254.0I had a great experience with Joseph Urbanski and his team. He helped me and my spouse set up a prenup on a tight timeline. Meetings with him were always very efficient, and we usually ended up using less time than scheduled. I expected someone billing hourly to be more lax with efficiency, so I was really happy about this. The one thing I'd note though is that in my experience, they weren't very responsive via email. Things went well once I started just calling them for concerns.

- MBMike BMar 18, 20255.0I worked with JKZ on the subjects of family law and estate. I found them to be a comprehensive firm with expertise in all parts of family matters. In family law (divorce and custody) what set Hazel and Joseph apart from other attorneys is their focus on peace and well being of children. When there was an opportunity to pick a fight and potentially rake in additional short term billing, they chose the path of firm but nice collaboration with the other party. When the other party was looking to escalate Hazel was firm and focused on the things that mattered the most. As a result I got 50/50 custody of my child and the processes didn't drag out for years and years like I have heard from other divorced parents.

Well, I could've hired other professionals who are capable of doing a better job. The only reason that I used them was because other firms had a much longer waiting time. I should've waited because i would've been much better off by waiting for others, and the stress and troubles this firm gave to me were tremendous while I was grieving for the loss of my partner. They even got my name wrong on the final court paper filed in the county. (and still wrong).
