  R.J. Waldsmith is an exemplar of a great trial lawyer: smart, kind and professional. He was relentless in prosecuting my personal injury case. I was 19 when a failed LASIK eye surgery ended up damaging the optic nerve of my eyes. Mr. Waldsmith learned the facts of my case, became knowledgeable in the cause of my injury, and fought hard to recover compensation on my behalf. I am truly grateful for the work Mr. Waldsmith and his firm did on my case. The compensation I received allowed me to get back on track, completing my studies at UC Berkeley. We remain friends years after my case was over. Mr. Waldsmith inspired me to pursue a career in law. His partners Bill Smith and Jeff Smith are also great. I highly recommend this firm.
