  After years of working around and against countless lawyers, it takes a lot to impress me. Nina Shapirshteyn genuinely stands out. She is sharp as a whip and is a powerful advocate. Opposing counsel know she is a formidable adversary. Judges trust her because she knows the law inside and out and has a reputation for her civility and integrity. Beyond that, she treats her clients with real care and respect, which is not something you see every day. I would recommend Nina without hesitation. If you are looking for the best trial lawyer, Nina is your best choice!

  Nina Shapirshteyn is a great attorney. She helped my sister when no one else would take on the case and she did it pro bono (for free) just because she knew my sister was right, and that she needed help, and that she would not be able to get help elsewhere. Even though other attorneys passed on the case, Nina Shapirshteyn got my sister an amazing result and settled the case for way more than we could have hoped for. Other attorneys told my sister the case was not worth nearly that much. I highly recommend this firm!

  I was on a worksite in Palo Alto when I fell into a hole which was covered by a piece of scrap plywood. I spent the next 4 days in Stanford Hospital where I was treated for my injuries. About 3 months later I was diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. That was when my Workman's Comp attorney recomended I should talk to Jeff Smith. My wife and I met with Jeff and RJ and they agreed to represent me. Everyone at ASW were very professional and worked as a team. They were really easy to work with and gave me updates on a regular basis. Jeff called me several times to inquire how I was doing and how I was dealing with the pain. As my case progressed I was impressed by how the whole team worked togeather to get me a settlement which I'm extremely satisfied with.
