  If you are looking for a special education lawyer, you have probably been through a lot. Advocating for your child shouldn’t be as hard as they make it, but it takes grit and determination to keep asking and documenting. I came to the Law Offie of Meagan Nuñez in the middle of everything feeling like an uphill battle. Byanca Hutchins was the attorney who represented my son on my behalf. She is absolutely incredible. At a time where it felt like I was batteling a broken school system, she came in to listen. She managed my expectations, never judged me or my son, and truly showed up for us. Byanca is amazing! She knows what she is doing and knows how to navigate the school system that is built to protect the instituition over children. Byanca never made me feel rushed, or made me feel like I was asking too many questions. She made me feel seen, and understood all that I had done to advocate alone. You would be lucky to have Byanca going to bat for your kiddo. Not only is she an incredible attorney, she is diligent and relatable.
