  Cole & Van Note represented me in a huge data breach suit. I couldn't be happier with the results! They set a very high bar that I've yet to see other firms match. Now I know how professional firms operate. I dealt primarily with Scott Cole and he always took the time to explain how the process worked and not only that I just got the settlement check today, when it wasn't expected until April! Going forward I would never consider using anyone else - I've been telling EVERYONE I know that they, when that (inevitable) data breach alert notice comes call CVN first. On a lighter note - literally the ONLY bad thing in the whole experience is that the envelope the check came (from a 3rd party vendor that handle lawsuit payouts exclusively) was a tad bit dirty - LOL

  Gets the job done! Period, no more no less. You want strong law firm with amazing leaders here is where you want to be! Scott is absolute straight forward guy. NO BS. Knows exactly what needs to be done and gets it done. They are quick, no BS. I got the results i wanted. I'm also not easy to deal with but we did excellent with Scott's guidance. They have amazing TEAM. If needed will be back to their firm. Highly recommend. Thanks , Scott and team.

  Cole & Van Note led a major data breach suit I was involved with and did a fantastic job, securing a settlement and justice for myself and many others affected by the breach. The attorneys and staff were communicative, professional, and fought hard over the course of a few years as the case made its way through the legal process. Big thanks to Scott, Mark, Elizabeth, and the rest of the team who were involved in the case!

  I experienced a serious invasion of privacy when a platform mishandled my personal documents. I tried to resolve it with the platform/company, but they ignored me, then flat-out denied it happened. I felt powerless. Mark Freeman at Cole & Van Note took my concerns seriously, communicated clearly, and guided me through the legal process. He and his team fought hard to hold the responsible parties accountable and achieved an outstanding settlement, restoring my sense of dignity and security. I appreciate their professionalism, compassion and expertise, and I highly recommend their firm.

  I work for an attorney who specializes in a different area of law, but my brother used Scott Cole of Cole and Van Note for a complaint against a larger corporation. My brother, Thomas Allen, asked me to post this because he does not have a Google account. With that said, he was extremely pleased with the diligence and hard work of Scott Cole throughout the short period of time it took him to settle the matter. Everything was done with the client in mind and a fair and equitable settlement was reached much sooner than my brother had anticipated.
