  I noticed that the majority of the five star review for David JP Kaloyanides all was given six years ago that gave a hint of same writing style and awfully same type of writing structure. I am here today to share my horror story dealing with David. David took an advantage of my situation back in 2014 and suggested that since no criminal charges were ffiled or let a lone a knock on the door from authority has yet taken place that I should pay him a 25K retainer in advance. After all I was concerned that what my business partner at the time may have conducted shady business behind my back may bring the business in trouble with the law. With that said, David also kindly advised me to put down a 10K retainer for a PI by the name of Frank, a former LE retiree, and a personal friend of his who admit to my spouse at the time that nothing needed to be done since nothing happened. All these years of trust in my lawyer based off on the notion that David had rest assured us on several occassions that the retainer would be refunded if nothing happens. Well nothing happened which lead us to a cat and mouse game of phone tag and charade trying to get my retainer back. David went as far as changed his place of business and his personal number in this cat and mouse game. He was pretty quick preying off another new client that's in the same dilemma that I was in six years ago today. He met my buddy under a different alias ready to rip him off with the same scare tactic that was used on me. The bottom line is this guy is not forthcoming and ripped me off. Ive already filed a complaint with the California State Bar.

  Mr. Kaloyanides is an excellent lawyer. He was able to meet with me on the day I first contacted him, and kept me informed through the process with quick responses to email and phone calls. Confident, experienced and personable, I would highly recommend David Kaloyanides.

  David has completely helped me to have a second chance in life. He fought my case with all that he had. I am so pleased yet so lucky to have him as a lawyer. With continuous years of trial David has showed how phenomenal he can be as a lawyer. Thanks to him I am serving my sentence with my family and friends without having to be behind bars. Allowing me to continue with my life, work and school something I would had never done in prison. Lowering my sentencing years from 5 years at a Federal prison to 18 months of home confinement. The best thing is I had him next to me when I needed him to answer my questions and at present at all court days. I would happily refer him to my family and friends. Thank you David.

  I have known David since 2006 from doing criminal defense work in the U.S. District Court. David and I have done two trials together as co-counsel. I have done trials with many different co-counsels and David, in my opinion, is one of the top trial lawyers there is. He has text book knowledge of the law, the ability to think fast on his feet, persuasive writing skills different, and is excellent in presenting a case to a jury. David meticulously and thoroughly prepares his cases and is top notch in the use of audio/visual technology in the Courtroom. I have seen from first hand experience how David's use of technology helped secure his client a full acquittal in a criminal jury trial. The charge in that case, assault with intent to cause bodily injury on a federal correctional officer, would have carried a significant amount of time in Federal prison had his client been convicted. David is truly a tremendous legal advocate and trial lawyer.

  I have been practicing law in California for more than 30 years. A significant amount of that time has been spent representing defendants in criminal cases in both state and federal courts. I met David several years ago in the US District court for the Central District of California, while we both were representing criminal defendants.
