What started in early April for a simple purchase of a van from an estate JP was managing. I am sitting here June 18th still with no title. He lacked the right authority to even execute the transaction, and this is over 9 months since when the person died. They rarely return messages. I have had to drive 35 miles 3 times this month and in each case they didn't have what is needed to transfer. On top of that, they filled it out improperly and corrupted the title so I had to get a title correction done. You would think a law firm this established knows how to do a title transfer. The tags expired end of April and i sold my old vehicle so driving around on expired plates now for 7 weeks . I have expended well over 16 hours just trying to get a title and sitting in the DMV for over 45 minutes, only to be told "your lawyer messed up". But honestly the biggest complaint is messages are not returned, the staff doesn't communicate well and it shouldn't take this long to resolve a simple sale of a van. I know others involved in the estate and trust said information is not flowing to them in a timely manner. They didn't relay to me they didn't have authority to sell this to me until after the bill of sale was done. Transparency was lacking. I would not recommend this place to anyone wanting to do a trust or will.
