  Very negative experience at this firm. Was told they’d take our job. After paying for consult they still stated they’d take it. Receptionist wanted payment without sending a document first of what we were paying for in writing to review. I told lawyer. He said this was standard here. I escalated to his daughter the owner because all I wanted was to see in writing the agreement before paying for the job. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. They kept our consult fee despite us paying it only because they said they could do the job we wanted for the price we needed before doing the consult. Never helped us. Wasted our time and money. Based on our negative experience and how we were treated, it makes me feel like many of these reviews are fake. Look at them. Many reviewers only have 1-3 reviews. Red flag as this can be an indicator of fake accounts. Go to a firm that will put in writing exactly what you’re paying for before requiring you to pay for the legal work. They wanted several grand down on their word. I stated you should know of all people that it’s not binding unless in writing which offended them somehow. It felt manipulative like they didn’t care about our business, just hustling us out of the consult fee then dropping us to focus on bigger clients. This is the only firm that’s ever given us a hard time about sending an agreement over for review before paying for the work itself. Every single other lawyer writes up the contract of what you’re doing together, sends that over for your to review before requiring payment for the work. They were offended I wanted it in writing before paying. Went on about their reputation. Were very rude, unprofessional and entitled. His daughter laughed at me when I stated that I didn’t appreciate how I was spoken to or being treated. It is firms like this that give lawyers a bad name. Send agreement contract before trying to manipulate customers into paying for the work.
