  READ THIS POST! You are not in good hands with Allstate. I recently hired my own public adjuster to review hail damage to my home and present a claim to Allstate. Many others in my area also received hail damage and their insurance companies covered it. Allstate has denied coverage of my claim. I have been covered by Allstate for 17 years and never made one claim. My public adjuster found twice the average roof damage that would be acceptable by an insurance company to allow a claim to be covered. If you are covered by Allstate, cancel your insurance and go with a different company.

  Very poor. We've been allstate customers for over 11 years. We recently had to file an auto claim for the first time in 6 years. The biggest disappointment was when the local agent said "if you have any issues just reach out and call me" and then when we did and we called our calls were avoided and never returned. Ultimately it was resolved in our favor but only after a ton of work that wasn't even necessary. Then we had to fight for the money to be sent to us who paid the actual bill. Ridiculous policies. While the customer service reps weren't rude they also had zero power to resolve issues which just leads to further escalation of frustration. Having to re explain every time we were transferred to a new rep again was hugely frustrating. There is no need for the process to be this complicated.
