- SJShrikanth JJan 11, 20265.0Had a claim after 16 years with them, it was not huge however very valid some plumbing leak and the guy was biased started assuming "the leak is from this corner or that" without opening walls and then said it probably is long term so I will deny it. Company is good, All state insurance is bad.

While he was doing that he also did our auto policy. Another company had lower prices and more coverage. We have had 2 policies with Allstate (home and auto) for I’d say 40 years. I think we’ve make one claim on each policy in all those years. We also have 2 more policies (umbrella and boat)that we’ve had for probably 20 years with no claim on either policy. When we talked to the agent at Allstate she offered us no incentive to keep our policies with Allstate so we moved to another company. That seems like very bad business—it seems like we’d be the customers you’d want to keep.
