We have insured this through her for over twelve years and have never missed a payment. We attempted to file a claim a couple years ago for water damage from a slow leaking dishwasher that went undetected because it was behind a wall and leaked under the floor. The claim was denied and we had to cover all associated expenses out of pocket. So our policy did not help us in any way for this incident. We are now in the process of obtaining a property (single family house) in the area. Since we insured our condo with Julia we figured we'd insure the new house with her as well. However, after speaking with a member of her team, we were advised they could not obtain the new policy with them due to the (denied) claim from a couple of years ago. It's incredibly shocking that this is a business practice of State Farm. Not only is it a terrible business practice, but it is a very bad look for agent Julia Johnson and State Farm. Because of this business model, they lost an opportunity for a new policy from a client who has a history of being in good standing. And when I reached out to Julia with this concern, I received no response. Not a very good look for her or her team. We secured insurance for the house from another company the very next day. This one interaction has resulted in lost business for Julia Johnson and State Farm. This has left a very poor impression on me and my family. We will never do business Julia Johnson or State Farm again.

It has taken us a while to get through all the changes due to complications on our end, and Shannon has been willing to adapt and make various changes along the way.
