I recently switched my homeowners and personal auto insurance to Safeco. I had googled "Usage based insurance carriers in Washington State". Something came up for Safeco "Drive Safe and Save" along with 5 others listed carriers. Previously I was using Progressive "Snapshot". Progressive was boasting about the $85.00 discount I was now qualified for because of participation in "Snapshot". They raised my premium by 45% (over 500) for the next term. I filled out some brief info on-line with State Farm. It was after business hours, so Andrew called me the next day. I was impressed by how well he listened to my concerns and needs. My premiums for both homeowners and personal auto are now seriously lower than what I had paid for my prior terms. I'm checking into what they can do for me on a single family landlord policy.
