    My bank messed up my billing twice, that caused me to loose my automatic payment discount and raised my rates which Raise my rates enough that I did not want to pay that anymore I called them up and tried to explain the situation and was treated very poorly by my local rep. Poorly, I mean, literally hung up on me and she told me that if I didn’t like it, I could go elsewhere. To try to salvage situation I called Allstate directly and there’s nobody in America that you can speak to the only thing you will get is eventually some service representative from. I’m guessing India who will not allow you to speak to anybody about them. They shut down all conversations, they will not do anything for you, and that is not acceptable . As a company, Allstate is impossible to deal with, customer service is poor and the local representative will hang up on you and treat you rudely despite any efforts made on your part to be amicable about the situation. I went to ask them for help. I put on my best happy smiley voice despite the fact that I’m the one who is out money and they treated me like I was inconveniencing them. Later on when I actually spoke to somebody from State farm, we had a laugh about how it felt like it was like a reverse Karen. Instead of the customer acting like a Karen to the staff the staff struck a Karen like attitude towards the customer, I’ve worked in customer service and this company just is throwing red flags and despite the fact that I had a great rapport with my Allstate agent in Colorado the one here in Vermont is horrible and dealing with Allstate when there’s a problem is an exercise in futility. So I’m with State farm now they treat me well, got Nearly double the insurance for $3 more than I was already paying. Allstate lost a customer and I’m looking at building a house and we actually need a decent amount of insurance for that and I also need Insurance for a small business and you won’t be getting that either. Screw the pooch so hard on this one thing you didn’t even even realise all the other business you’re losing. I wasn’t even asking you to re-Reddit me for the time that was being overcharged. I was just simply saying can I go back to automatic billing through a credit card instead of my bank? I just wanted to go back to the lower amount and being able to Have automatic deposit I wasn’t asking for any overcharges to be regretted to me. None of that I was as nice as I could be that’s not cool. That’s all you ever get. I hope it was worth it. Morning for anybody who reads these review? I don’t have a history of giving bad reviews. I try to look for the best and a company and report that I try to be forgiving but this one above and beyond on top of that you’ll notice that this company only has either one star reviews or 530 is Now sometimes star reviews can be well not reliable people with unrealistic expectations. However five star reviews many times show that this person had their friends family and a bunch of bogus accounts and they bolster Their reviews and that’s what I am seeing in this case there’s a few reviews that they have that the person who reviewed them only reviewed this agency which tells me it’s a fake account. I don’t have unrealistic expectations. I just had some expectations of customer service from both Allstate the company and my local agent who is the person supposed to go to bat for you? They didn’t neither.

    We are new to Burlington. I called the agency, described our needs on multiple policies and had everything taken care of quickly and professionally. They even researched some things on thier own and saved us money on our condo coverage. Very happy!

    Unprofessional - the likes of which I've never seen. Very rude, terrible customer service from Nicole Citro herself. As a paying customer I don't need to be yelled at by someone who is supposed to be an adult, for things that have nothing to do with why I'm calling. Aside from being hung up on by someone who must be having just the worst day ever, this agency has been incredibly difficult to make and understand policy changes with. Usually I'm more confused after speaking with them, and I've been with enough insurance agencies to know that shouldnt be the case.
