  On 2/25/25 at 3:23, I received a call from Cindi Rivera, who presented herself as a representative of an Allstate agency but did not disclose that she was a sales agent, not a claims adjuster. She requested my statement about an accident involving one of her customers who hit my vehicle and asked me to email her video evidence of the incident. I complied, assuming she was handling the claim appropriately at 2:44pm Subsequently, the at-fault driver attempted to file a claim with my insurance, which was denied. On February 27, 2025, an Allstate claims adjuster contacted me. When I mentioned I had already provided all information to Cindi, he informed me that she had no authority to contact me or request evidence, as that’s outside a sales agent’s role. I then called the agency to address this and spoke with Anthony Knight Jr., who claimed to speak on behalf of his father, the agency owner. He interrupted me, insisted Cindi had done nothing wrong, and said she requested the information to “assist their customer with a claim.” This explanation doesn’t hold up—sales agents don’t handle claims, especially not against another party’s insurance. Knight Jr. then hung up on me, refusing to acknowledge any misconduct. This agency appears to engage in deceptive and unethical practices. I plan to file complaints with Allstate corporate, the Better Business Bureau, and the state Bureau of Insurance.
