When my prior insurer would not provide condo coverage as I moved to VB from an individual home, I chose Allstate. They provided the coverage we need at a reasonable price. Insurance is a purchase where one hopes not to have to use it. Nevertheless, it is unwise not to have it. Adrienne Link was easy to work with in getting it done.

Prices were outrageous for bare minimum coverage. Price went up each renewal even without accident or tickets on my record for auto, home and motorcycle even after being loyal customer for 9 years. Also I put 7 requests in to remove my nephew from my insurance as he is stationed in California and not one request went through. Overall impression of the company is lazy.

My policy was canceled on the 1st of April. I canceled my policy on time, but due to the error on the part of YOUR customer service representative, my policy didn't cancel until April 4th, generating a bill for $31.06. I think it is bad business practice to charge your clients when the client did everything correctly, and the error was on the part of Allstate.
The man assigned to my claim was rude and would not allow me to speak to upper management, he claimed he was the final level of escalation. In short, this and several phone calls to my non-existent agent that are still unanswered, are the reason we are no longer customers.
****In follow up to your response, I did call your office several times before my husband and I made the decision to cancel our policy. The lack of response from your office and lack of notification that our policy was even transferred to your office is poor business practice. Every time I tried to contact your office over a 2 month prior period (Feb and March) either resulted in leaving a voice mail or being sent to a call center to deal with an automated system, or a customer service representative with no clue as to how to help me, but refer me back to you, my non-existent Agent.
So please don't pretend you tried to help, you and your office have offered no help to us whatsoever and now I'm stuck with a bill that I have to pay in order to avoid collections due to an error on Allstate's behalf.****
