  TERRORIZED MY FAMILY. These people, besides being completely unprofessional, were threatening and dismissive. I received mail from them with a photo of my house and vehicle prominently displayed next to my name and address. When I called to inquire, I was hung up on. In my home, my family includes a veteran with major PTSD and victims of stalkers. This was wildly inappropriate and upsetting to my entire household in our home, in which we are meant to be safe. RUN AWAY.

  Never take insurance from Allstate. Allstate were charging for the vehicle which I sold many months back. Allstate put claim on my property, even I never took any claim. Paul was not helping at all.

  Little to no support when you need them the most. All is good when nothing happens but when fighting to get claims covered, no support to help a customer deal with the insurance company

  After moving to the Chantilly Virginia area, I continued with Allstate for my home owners insurance, apartment insurance, car insurance and Allstate motor club. I have been faithful to Allstate for over 30 years. In 2018, there was a wind storm that took out many residents' roof shingles. I had slight shingle lifting that I felt wasn't enough to put in a claim with Allstate. I took a job on the West coast and rented my home in Chantilly. Paul Forbes Allstate informed me that I needed to convert my homeowners policy to a landlord policy, which I did. They had to come out to do an inspection. After the inspection, they informed me that I had to repair the roof within a period of time or face cancellation. I informed them that my home was insured through them when the shingles lifted and asked if I could make a claim. His assistant said that she would call me back to let me know if I would be covered. She never called me back, and the next correspondence that I get is a cancellation of my policy. Somehow, my bank is contacted, and they call me to issue a force policy that would be some exorbitant amount. Really? In good hands with Allstate? Now I have to scramble at work on the phone to recover. Wow, ok. I had a roofing company come out to do a tune-up, nailing corking, etc, but I must admit, the shingles were still slightly lifted. Allstate sent the inspectors out again, only to send me photos that they were still lifted. The roofing company responded to me with Paul Forbes CC:d saying that the roof was within code, there was no leaks or enough lifting to warrant an insurance cancellation and actually informed me as a roofer that Allstate has a bad reputation for doing this. Paul Forbes or his office never followed up with me after the email certifying my roof was in good condition. This is the first time that I have ever taken the time to write a review for this type of practice, especially when I am across the country and this is what I get. I have decided to give State Farms the landlord policy, State Farms had my policy in place and faxed to my bank within 1 hour. I am thinking about moving all of my cars over to State Farms. I have a bad taste in my mouth with Allstate at this point.
