  These agents clearly get commission off people buying more expensive insurance and making you think that’s your “only option”. Do not recommend, speak with managers only when dealing with this company

  The lady working at the desk was outstanding....The rest of the company is terrible....They haven't got a clue... cancel your policy....

  I am conflicted with providing 5 stars because Ms. Pamela Martin, Sales & Service Agent was very considerate and patient with me and did what about 3 representatives could not do, which was process a refund for overpayment of insurance for a vehicle deemed a total loss, not in my possession and held by the insurance company in a storage for 3 months at $196.75. Direct General/Integon, then decided instead of refunding the monies owed the insurance company took it and placed it onto. Direct auto/Integon were notified on 02/18/25, of the non-fault accident. The insurance company picked up my vehicle on 02/19/25, and took it to COPART, a place I later discovered this location is generally an auction site instead a storage until the insurance company appraise your vehicle damages. I discovered this once a mutual friend of mine, who is a mechanic saw my vehicle stripped and being showcased on COPART site. (see picture below) Direct General/Integon insurance adjusters never physically inspected my vehicle for damages but totaled it out under the law of over 10 years old and 80 % damage verse vehicle value. However, no air bags were deployed, or bent frame. They estimate the damage high enough to total it out. Yes, you guessed it there was ONLY one repair estimate. Basically, my vehicle and probably many others have been hustled out of their vehicles, this way.
