- MWMisty Dawn WilliamsFeb 28, 20261.0My mom cancelled her policy with Allstate in March of last year after finding insurance cheaper with another company. Allstate continued taking over $300 from her account and when she caught it she was told that they had cancelled it. So you just continue taking premiums after people cancel? We faxed over the bank statements with the dates & amounts along with the proof that she has insurance for those months with another company. Guess who still has not received her money? Yep, my mom. DO NOT PURCHASE INSURANCE FROM THIS COMPANY. Especially if you're a senior citizen. They will rip you off and laugh the entire time.
