Personally had a pretty lame experience working with Stefani Blayden. Last month, I called THEM about getting my policy renewed, was given a quote, and accepted. A few weeks later I received a call that there was a payment issue. I confirmed my banking information had not changed, and they said no problem, we'll run it again and be in touch if there are any issues. Fast forward to last week - I get a letter in the mail from Allstate saying I was late on payment and in cancellation status. Again I called THEM - found out they mistyped my payment info, and that's why the payment was not going through. This is no biggie, mistakes happen. But I was driving around unknowingly uninsured for weeks, and now my policy is hundreds of dollars more. They said there was nothing they could do.
I stopped by to try to straighten things out and see what my options were. Liz was very helpful, but mentioned that there were mistakes on both ends, and that they had mailed a letter about it (duh, that's why I reached out) and that I should have been checking my bank account to make sure the money was taken out - as if I should have expected a payment error instead of trusting it be handled correctly... very frustrating to hear.
Another odd thing is that when the other agent there walked by, Liz made a comment about how weird he was... Take that as you will
Chatting with a new agent this morning, I found out that they could have absolutely reached out to Allstate about an agency error to request my old rate be honored. I'm switching my policy to the new agent who is offering to take the initiative on this.
If you're looking to be in good hands, Stefani Blayden is not it. There were many opportunities to find a solution, but instead I was met with a total lack of communication. I'm sure many of their clients have had good experiences, but when things like this slip through the cracks, you will be the one spending your time and energy trying to solve it. To date she has still not reached out to me.
