Any Business Owners,
Instead of addressing a simple, standard question about customer loyalty and retention programs, you chose to dig through my personal review history to launch personal insults. That speaks volumes about the culture of your office.
When I spoke with 2 people at your office , I asked a completely reasonable hypothetical question: if I am a loyal customer for 10 years, how does State Farm reward that loyalty? Rather than de-escalating a standard inquiry from a prospective client looking to switch providers, they became defensive, asked why I was 'chewing him out,' and completely escalated the situation.
As the owner, your job should be to train your staff on basic customer service and de-escalation tactics. Instead, you've validated his poor handling of the call and doubled down with unprofessionalism online. My experience with Progressive may have prompted me to look elsewhere, but this interaction proved that even a tough day with them is a million times better than dealing with an office that treats inquiring customers with hostility.
State Farm didn't dodge a bullet (as one of your owners put it); I did. Thank you for showing me exactly who you are before I gave your business a single dime.
