- EFEric FisherApr 21, 20261.0Terrible experience. Look elsewhere. I decided to switch my home and auto to Allstate after a lengthy shop around experience. After one month I got a letter in the mail saying that they were dropping me due to certain fire hazards. I had one week to resolve those issues with no time extensions when I asked. Not sure how or why these things weren't flagged when I originally signed up. I was unable to complete their requests and thus dropped after one month. On top of that, they took away the bundled discount on my car insurance so those rates went up considerably too. They don't care about their customers. It's only about making a dollar for them. Find someone else.
