Ryan recently helped us switch our home and auto from Progressive to Allstate. Smartest thing I’ve done all year and Ryan made it seamless and simple. I highly recommend reaching out for his services if you want to save some money and feel secure in your insurance needs.

My experience with Allstate has been incredibly frustrating from start to finish.
After 3+ weeks of delays, confusion, and constant follow-ups, I was finally told they had everything they needed and that payment was “issued.” Sounds good—except now I’m being told it will arrive as a paper check in 1–2 more weeks.
No explanation for why it can’t be sent electronically, even though that was previously mentioned as an option. Meanwhile, the repair shop was paid weeks ago, but I’m still waiting with zero confidence anything is actually on the way.
Communication has been inconsistent the entire time—wrong information, wrong names on documents, and constant back-and-forth just to get basic answers. Every step required me to chase someone down.
At this point, the process feels outdated, disorganized, and unnecessarily slow. When you’re already dealing with a total loss, adding another 1–2 weeks for a mailed check is just unacceptable.
Would not recommend.

We’ve had a really frustrating experience with Allstate.
Over 3 weeks of delays, mixed messages, and no clear answers. We’ve had to chase updates ourselves the entire time, and even ran into issues with the claim being under the wrong name.
At this point, good luck getting real help or straight answers. Even on our roof claim, we’re not confident what’s actually covered.
Overall, very disorganized and stressful to deal with.

I had one of the worst insurance claim experiences I’ve ever dealt with through Allstate.
This has been 27+ days of confusion, delays, and zero clear communication. I was told my car was a total loss, then waited nearly two weeks just to get a valuation. After finally agreeing to keep the vehicle (owner retain), the situation somehow got more chaotic instead of moving forward.
Here’s what I dealt with:
* Constant conflicting information between Allstate and Copart
* Repeated calls and texts telling me to release or move a car I already confirmed I’m keeping
* Incorrect lien information (they claimed a $20,000 loan on a car that’s been paid off for 6+ months)
* Paperwork sent with the wrong name (not even mine)
* Being told different things by different reps with no single source of truth
* Having to personally spend $3,000 out of pocket just to move repairs forward while waiting on them
At one point, Copart told me they couldn’t even speak to me because the claim was under the wrong name. Meanwhile, Allstate kept saying everything was “being handled.”
Even now, after nearly a month, I still don’t have a clear, confident answer on where the payout stands or what’s actually required to finalize it. The only consistent thing has been delays and miscommunication.
The most frustrating part: no proactive updates. Every step required me chasing someone down, leaving voicemails, or asking the same questions repeatedly.
This process has felt completely disorganized, and honestly, it’s shaken my trust in Allstate. When you’re dealing with a total loss, the last thing you need is confusion and silence.
Would not recommend based on this experience.
UPDATE: I sent them my title, which wasn’t even the issue. After Ryan gave me a generic response that didn’t address the real problem, they then told me it would take 1–2 weeks to process a check. Meanwhile, my car is already fixed and back on the road without any help from my insurance company.
Update 2: going now on 36+ days, got the check however the bank said they wrote it incorrectly and won’t cash it, so now we have to request a new one. You can’t make this up! Complete incompetency!

I originally left a one-star review because I was told multiple times by customer service that I didn’t have roadside assistance, which was very frustrating during an already stressful situation. It turns out Allstate uses a separate policy number for roadside assistance that’s different from the main auto policy, which was never clearly explained to me and caused a lot of confusion.
I’m updating this to four stars because Ryan followed up with me quickly, gave me the correct information, and confirmed I did have coverage. This wasn’t his fault at all, just a miscommunication and a training issue with overseas customer service. Everything has now been resolved and I appreciate the help in getting it sorted out.
