The agency informed me that, because I still had one month remaining before renewal, I was required to pay the final month’s premium—even though my next payment was not due for another seven days. When I stated that I would remove my payment information from the Allstate app, the agency responded by threatening legal action in small claims court. I then contacted Allstate directly through their 1-888 customer service line, where a representative was able to cancel my policy the same day and confirmed that a refund would be issued. I wish we had the option to not select a star because this agency is not even worth 1 star.
