I will start by saying that Texas Farm Bureau is great in providing people with great insurance at a reasonable cost. Unfortunately, this office does a poor job in reflecting that. I started my insurance here because I am from Wheeler and my parents have insurance through this office. They were OK until they weren't. First problem I had with this office is when I noticed one day that my FINANCED vehicle was no longer being insured on my policy. The reason is still a mystery other than "we will get that fixed". Not a good reason, in my opinion, considering it is usually the barrow's obligation to maintain full coverage on a financed vehicle. Second problem arose when I added HOME OWNERS insurance to my account and obviously changed addresses. Rocket science, I know, but bear with me. After a year of no problems, I one day noticed that I was INSURING MY HOUSE WITH AN OLD ADDRESS. So, I called and got that fixed, I supposed. Most recent and third strike came when I made a mistake and forgot to pay my auto insurance bill one month (WHOOPS, we all do it). I called to get it fixed and found out that they had been "sending notices" to my previous address. WAIT, WHAT?! You mean I have HOME OWNERS insurance at one address, had a problem with them insuring my CURRENT HOME at a PREVIOUSLY LIVED AT ADDRESS and they were STILL SENDING STATEMENTS, BILLS, AND NOTICES THERE?! Line crossed. Especially when they tried to charge me $94 reinstatement fee when I called to solve the problem. Agent was OK, but office staff absolutely useless. I finally wised up and took my business to another office. Guess what.....NO REINSTATEMENT FEE and I BET THEY GET MY ADDRESS RIGHT. DO BUSINESS WITH FARM BUREAU BUT NOT AT THIS OFFICE.
